Fitness & Flow
FAQSometimes the mind needs a pause—and the body just needs space to move. Bright and sunlit, our studio is far more than a typical gym: it’s a calm sanctuary where functional strength training meets deep relaxation.
Set upon classic herringbone parquet and wrapped in warm pine wood, you can work out with sweeping views of the Gastein Valley. Whether it’s a focused session on the Hammer Power Rack, a workout with free weights, or a quiet stretch, you’ll find everything you need for your personal routine.
And afterwards? Simply ease into one of the comfortable daybeds, take in the crisp alpine air through the open balcony doors, and let your workout gently wind down.

Fitness & Flow - FAQ
BackWhat are the opening hours of the fitness area?
The room is available daily from early morning until evening—perfect for a workout before breakfast or a quick session after a day on the trails.
What equipment is available?
Our focus is on high-quality free-weight and strength training. You’ll find a Hammer Power Rack with Olympic barbell and bumper plates, an adjustable workout bench, a full range of dumbbells, kettlebells, and mats for bodyweight or stretching routines.
Do you have cardio machines?
Our absolute favorite treadmill starts right at the front door: the Gastein Valley itself! For cardio, we always recommend stepping out into the fresh mountain air. Inside the studio, we keep the focus purely on strength, stability, and restoration.
Do I need to reserve a slot in advance?
Not at all. There is no booking required—just pop in whenever it suits your day.
Can I go straight to the spa after working out?
Seamlessly. The fitness room connects right to our Aveda Spa—the ultimate way to cool off in the pool or unwind in the sauna post-workout.
