Popular routes include the Prossau Valley, the Höhenweg to Bad Hofgastein, the Sportgasteiner Almenweg and the trail to Spiegelsee on the mountain in Dorfgastein.

There are jays and many squirrels on the Kaiser Wilhelm Promenade. We have food available at reception. If you continue into the Kötschachtal Valley, you can also discover alpacas.

Haus Hirt is designed to allocate rooms as double rooms. As we only have 33 rooms, we charge a supplement (which varies depending on the season) on top of the standard price for single occupancy.

The largest room category in the hotel is the Classic Suite II. If you need a larger room, we also have the Alpenlofts. There, you can use the entire house.

Generally, childcare hours at our Kids Club are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Hours may vary slightly depending on the season.

We offer good-quality equipment for toddlers and babies, which is available to our guests free of charge. This includes buggies, night lights, baby bathtubs and much more.

For the youngest children or children without group experience, we offer a nanny service on request. This costs 20 euros per hour. Please register at reception by 7 p.m. the day before.

There are no electric charging stations for cars at the hotel. However, it is possible to use our sockets in the basement for charging. An adapter is required for this – please bring your own. Alternatively, there is an electric charging station in the town centre near the waterfall.

It is possible to store your luggage at reception before check-in or after check-out.

We offer a shuttle service between the railway station and the hotel. If required, we can also take you to other destinations for a fee. Just ask at reception.

Our guided hikes have different levels of difficulty – from easy family walks (for example, along the Höhenweg to Hofgastein) to alpine hikes in the fascinating mountain world of the Gastein Valley.

Parents should register their children in advance at the ski school. Spontaneous registration may still be possible on site (registration form available at reception). The Angerer Ski School holds an information evening every Sunday at 6 p.m. during the winter season.

Children are welcome to use the pool area until 6 p.m. However, we kindly ask you to be considerate of guests who wish to relax in the spa. For one hour in the afternoon, during our Splash Time, the pool belongs entirely to the little ones. Under supervision, children can romp around in the water during this time.

You can book wellness treatments before arrival. However, we can also book your desired spa treatments on site, subject to availability.
