Updated Cancellation Policy (November 2020)

We have revised our terms and conditions to make decisions easier for you to plan your holiday with us for the upcoming Summer season (07.05.2021 to 07.11.2021)


Free cancellation guarantee up to 48 hours before arrival

You may cancel your stay with us at Haus Hirt with no difficulties nor with any costs up to 48 hours before your planned arrival for any of the following reasons:

* If a travel warning is issued for the Salzburg area.
* If you are required to go into quarantine following an official notification.


If any of the above happens we will cancel your booking without charge and any convert any down payment you have already made into a Haus Hirt voucher without an expiry date. If you prefer we will refund your deposit.


We recommend you take out travel insurance:

NEW: We offer to pay 50% of the costs of a cancellation insurance with the Europäische Reiseversicherung for the duration of your stay. For more information, please contact us.

The following rights apply to your own travel insurance:
* if you develop COVID-19 symptoms yourself,
* if a close relative or living person is a COVID-19
ill and your participation is urgent, or you have to be in quarantine.

If the current measures are lifted and unrestricted travel is possible, our very relaxed cancellation conditions for this summer are as follows:

You can change or cancel your reservation for free 28 days before your arrival date. In case of cancellation 28 days before the arrival date we reserve us the right to take 30 % of your total amount, 21 days before the arrival date 50% of your total amount, 14 days before the arrival date 70% of your total amount. In case of cancellation 7 days before the arrival date or No-Show we take 90% of your total amount and the early departure fee is 100% of your total amount.

The cancellation costs may also be transferred into a voucher for use during the low season, depending on availability.
