Once Haus Hirt was the refuge of famous artists and writers (Thomas Mann and Stefan Zweig among others). Today, it is a popular haunt of modern free-thinkers and wandering spirits. Our friendly spirit is meant to create the feeling of heaven on earth.

Elma Choung and Ike Ikrath designed and created the atmosphere of a large private house by mixing stills of the thirties, visions of the future, and a lot of the creativity they feel now. The project is never done, and always evolving, much like the mountains themselves.
