Silvia Martinez: Vinyasa Yoga
My journey through yoga started in 2010. Under the skillful guidance of a great yoga teacher in the South West of France and my own curiosity, I got into a deep and disciplined daily yoga practice that filled my heart with peace and happiness. I started to feel my own inner balance and stillness of my mind. Discovering these inner feelings turned yoga into my passion. I soon decided that I really wanted to share my passion with others, so I travelled to India where I was certified as a Vinyasa yoga teacher (YTT200h)
I teach Vinyasa flow and Power Vinyasa classes combined with pranayama and short meditations. During the practice, I place my emphasis in the breath, self-awareness and alignment, inviting the students to explore and expand within their own bodies and consciousness.
Every year I assist to different workshops and yoga classes to broaden my knowledge and get deeper into my yoga and meditation practice, which is always very inspirational to my current yoga teaching.
I share my classes with the students as a journey to the heart and way to connect with our most wonderful self, through self-discovery and self-awareness. Yoga is a way to live our life both on and off the mat by following a path of happiness, love and a quieter state of mind.
