Kerstin Portscher
Kerstin Portscher lives and works in Munich. She has been teaching yoga with great passion for over 20 years. Initially trained in the tradition of Shivananda Yoga, since 2008 she has been inspired by the life-affirming philosophical attitude of Anusara Yoga, which, together with its universal alignment principles, forms the basis of her diverse teaching. She has also been particularly influenced and inspired by Angela Farmer’s creative and free understanding of yoga.
Kerstin previously worked for many years as a contemporary stage dancer and choreographer, has worked as a qualified psychologist since 2002 and as a psychotherapist in her own practice since 2020. The relationship of people to themselves, to others and to life is the central focus of her interest. Her experience in the physical expression of feeling (dance), in understanding feelings (psychology) and in practicing the integration and acceptance of all feelings (spirituality) give her yoga classes a special depth, clarity and vitality.
